Chloe was back in town, and he had suggested to grab a bite. But eventhough he still loved her, their was another woman in his life. Kyra. She probably didn't know where he was right now. He wanted to see if things still worked between him and Chloe.
But the Chloe he was here with, wasn't the Chloe he had met. Something had changed about her. As if there was a new lover in her life or someone who could be her lover. Not that the blamed her, because he was to blame as well. He had started to date Kyra, not that he did regret it. They just connected, just as he had done with Chloe before, but Kyra was diffrent.
They were walking towards the restaurant, but Nathan felt, they weren't alone. Someone was watching them. From a distance. Nathan could feel his presence. His or hers, he wasn't sure on that. At least it wasn't a witch. Still he had to be careful.
He realized he was awfully quiet. But there was nothing he could do about it.
Tonight he had to come clean with Chloe on this Kyra matter, and that wasn't going to be easy. He didn't want to break Chloe's heart, but he knew that he was gonna have to face it, wither he liked it, or not. For now he was in need of a good decent meal, and then afterwards he'd see where this was leading to.
